EDUCATION

Luke attended the Electronics and Computer Engineering program at Camosun College before graduating with his B.ENG in Electrical Engineering from the University of Victoria in September 2017.

During his attendance at the University of Victoria Luke completed 16 months of work experience: 8 months with Forest Technology Systems and another 8 months with Intel.

While not working or studying Luke spent most of his time working with UVic AERO, a student team that designed UAVs to compete in national and international competitions. He lead the electronics team for the last 2 years of his studies.

Work Experience

Luke started his engineering career at Starfish Medical where he worked for 4 years. Starfish is a medical device design company that provides design services to companies and individuals in the med tech sector. The work was very design focused and fast paced which allowed for fast knowledge growth in all areas of embedded system design.

He then moved on to Brainlab Robotics in Germany where he has worked for the last 3 years designing electronics for surgical robotics. The work at Brainlab is more focused around a single product which has allowed for development in the areas of regulatory documentation, manufacturing transfer, and test tool design.
