Nixie Tube Clock
My Nixie Tube Clock was the precursor to my watch, this is the latest revision.
A flyback converter supplies 220V to the tubes from a 5V supply. The Tubes are multiplexed to reduce the amount of transistors required, and everything is controlled by an STM32 microcontroller. A 6 button interface on the front of the clock is used to set the time, the alarm, and control the display.
RGB LEDs are below each tube and controlled by an LP5018, the colours include Red, Orange, Green, Teal, Blue, Purple, and Rainbow. At the top of each hour the tubes cycle through each digit in a beautiful parade of numbers.
